Material connection

We have a material connection with several of the vendors listed on ChemVerify: when you click a discount code, CTA button, or referral link, the vendor may pay ChemVerify a commission on any resulting purchase. This is required to be disclosed under FTC 16 CFR Part 255.

How we earn

ChemVerify monetizes its work through three transparent channels:

• Affiliate / referral commissions paid by listed vendors when researchers use a ChemVerify discount code or CTA link to complete an order.
• Sponsored placements (clearly labeled with the [Ad] pill or “Sponsored” tag).
• Donations and direct grants from research labs that use the platform.

Editorial independence

Commissions do not influence which vendors are listed, how they rank, or whether they receive a verified badge.

• Verification status is based exclusively on third-party COA evidence (Janoshik, MZ Biolabs, Vanguard).
• Vendor rankings on /compare are price- and shipping-region driven, never commission driven.
• Negative findings, COA failures, or scam reports are published regardless of affiliate status.

Does this cost you anything?

No. Affiliate commissions are paid by the vendor out of their own marketing budget. The price you pay is identical whether you use a ChemVerify code or visit the vendor directly – except that the code typically reduces your price.

Regulatory frameworks

This disclosure satisfies the following legal requirements:

• FTC 16 CFR Part 255 (United States) – clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connection.
• EU Digital Services Act Art. 26 + 44 – advertising must be clearly identifiable.
• German UWG / TMG – Werbung/Anzeige Kennzeichnungspflicht.
