ChemVerified – Seal and Test Criteria
ChemVerified is ChemVerify's test seal. It shows that a sample of a product, bought by us from a specific vendor, met every measured criterion in the lab. It is neither sold nor negotiated; it follows automatically from the published test result.
What the seal confirms
A seal always covers exactly one product at exactly one vendor. It confirms that the most recent sample of that product we tested met the criteria below – nothing more and nothing less.
The seal is not a certification or accreditation, not a guarantee for other batches or deliveries, and not a statement about effect, safety or suitability for human use. All tested products are intended for laboratory research only and not for human consumption.
Test criteria
A seal is only awarded if the sample passes every measured attribute:
- Purity (HPLC)
- at least 95 %
- Content
- at most 40 % deviation from the stated amount
- Endotoxin
- at most 1.0 EU/mg; a value outside the measuring range counts as failed
- Identity and contaminants (LC-MS)
- identity confirmed, no foreign peptides detected
- Heavy metals
- none detected
Not every analysis covers every attribute. An attribute that was not measured counts neither for nor against the product; the test report lists which attributes were measured.
Process
- ChemVerify buys the sample from the vendor itself.
- An independent third-party laboratory analyses the sample; the full lab report is published with the result.
- The result is published as a test report – whether the sample passes or not.
- Tests are commissioned by ChemVerify itself or on behalf of a vendor for a testing fee. The fee has no influence on the process, the criteria or the publication.
Validity
- The most recent sample always decides. If a retest fails, the seal is withdrawn; the report stays public.
- A seal is valid for twelve months from the sample's analysis date. The vintage (e.g. 2026/27) is shown on the seal.
- After that it stays visible but turns grey and reads “Retest due” – including the embedded image on the vendor's site.
How to recognise a genuine seal
- A genuine seal is always a link to its test report at chemverify.com/tests.
- The seal's ring shows the vendor's name, the product and the test date. If they do not match the shop you see it in, the seal is not genuine.
- Please report a seal without a link, with the wrong vendor name or an altered image to info@chemverify.com.
Licence terms for vendors
Vendors whose product carries a seal may show it on their website under the following terms. Embedding the seal constitutes acceptance of these terms.
- Right of use: ChemVerify grants a simple, non-transferable right, revocable at any time, to show the seal for exactly the tested product in the vendor's own shop – not for other products, sizes, variants or shops.
- Embedding: the seal may only be embedded using the code from the vendor portal. It must not be copied, stored, recreated or altered; only this way does it always show the current status.
- Linking: the seal must link to the test report at ChemVerify. The embed code does this; the link must not be removed or redirected.
- Claims: the seal must not be described as a certification, accreditation, approval or guarantee, nor combined with statements on effect, dosage, safety or human use. The “for laboratory research use only” notice remains the vendor's obligation.
- Termination: the right ends when the seal expires or a retest fails – the embedded image shows this by itself – and upon any breach of these terms. On request, the seal must be removed within seven days.
- Marks: “ChemVerified” and the seal image are marks of ChemVerify. Any use outside these terms is prohibited.
- Liability: the seal confirms the measured result of the tested sample at the time of testing. ChemVerify gives no warranty for other batches, deliveries or the vendor's own statements.
