Independent Tests

Bought as a customer, paid by ChemVerify, analysed by an independent laboratory.

How we test

Every test on this page started with an ordinary order: ChemVerify bought the product like any customer, the vendor was not informed, and the sealed sample went to an independent laboratory. The full report is linked on each test. From 75 of 100 points a sample counts as passed, from 40 to 74 as flagged, below that as not passed.

What our lab tests show

Descriptive analysis of all 23 published samples and their 84 laboratory reports, independent of the filters above. The figures update with the published records; this is not a new laboratory study.

Analysis dates in the records: August 28, 2026–October 9, 2026.

Purity

97.14–99.864 %

Included: 20 of 23 samples. Range of reported values.

A high purity percentage does not tell you how many milligrams are in a vial. Chromatographic purity and measured peptide quantity answer different questions.

Difference from recorded label

-9.3 % / +81.4 %

Included: 17 of 23 samples. Range of reported values.

In 3 of 17 comparable samples, the reported quantity is below the recorded label quantity. These are point estimates, not proof of a specification failure: measurement uncertainty must also be considered.

These purchases are not a random market sample. Several samples come from the same supplier, with different products and dates. This distribution cannot establish market failure rates or a reliable supplier ranking.

How this analysis is calculated

We use the same sample grouping as the protocols: supplier, receipt date (or order date), labelled product and batch. Additional reports or repeat measurements within a group do not create new samples. Only one unambiguous exact value per measurement is included: purity in % and content in mg. Limits such as <1 are not treated as exact values. Named analytes must match the labelled product; a complex and its constituents are never added together.

Difference (%) = (reported mg ÷ recorded label mg − 1) × 100.

The comparison requires a positive, consistent label quantity recorded in the protocol. Missing labels are not inferred from common vial sizes. Excluded results remain accessible in the original protocol. The displayed ranges describe the included samples only; no averaging across suppliers, confidence intervals or market estimates are calculated.

What a COA cannot tell us

A certificate of analysis describes the submitted sample and the tests performed. Purity alone does not establish identity, endotoxin levels, sterility or the absence of every contaminant. “Not detected” depends on the method and detection limit; it does not mean zero. These results do not demonstrate suitability for human use or represent every vial in a batch or later orders.

Publisher: ChemVerify. Calculations use the published protocol records linked above, including their limitations. The laboratory remains the source of the reported measurements; methods and any stated uncertainty are in the individual reports. Bachem’s technical guide below explains the distinction between purity and peptide content; it is not independent validation of these samples.
